Nessie Final Design (changed)

The setting of Nessie is that its ‘dip’ doesn’t exist when it is a child, it appears after it grows up. I am wondering if this is an acceptable way to do the design?
Nessie Friend/lover Design

I have separate the 'goofy' ,'heavy', 'comical' looks of Nessie to another Nessie, it could potentially be Nessie’s friend or lover. It won’t appear in the book, just an extra design.

Rita, Ross and Bao. I’ve made them short, thin and fat to push the character so that they aren’t looking the same.

I’ve put the base colour for the two 2 page spread and cover page. It indicates the place of highlight and shadow, the overall look of the page. This determined what colour I will use and to see if the colour choice fits the page.
